One More Wish....

In my quest to fill you in on some of my favorite places to hopefully visit (and re-visit) I somehow forgot to mention one of the all-time best places for both spa choices and family activities.



What is this magical place?





I may have mentioned it a few hundred times before....Mii amo spa, in Sedona, which is also part of the great Enchantment Resort in one of the most stunning parts of this country.



You got your basic resort (Enchantment) and a SEPARATE spa building...the way I like it...and this summer they have just announced a very sweet deal. Check it out on their websites.



In fact, this is a great time to be checking all great summer spa deals, especially in the SW parts of the country, where most people dealing with crazy heat and humidity (try "living" in Tucson in August) go anywhere if there's a hint of under triple digit weather and nasty scary creatures that share the desert with us humans.



No details on the above, maybe another time. But check out Mii amo for the ultimate of luxury and pampering, and amazing "spa" food that is surprisingly delicious.

So Many Spas.....

...that I'd like to visit....

My wish list:

El Monte Sagrado, an eco-haven that looks more incredible every time I go on the website (which I do alot, especially when I'm feeling deprived and sorry for myself)...just looking at the pictures is like meditating;

Ojai in California; any

Willow Stream spa (I'm partial to Fairmont, can't help it),

La Costa, or any West-coast Californian spa of repute, for that matter.

Having been forced to take "medical leave" for the summer...don't ask...it's been particularly difficult to give suggestions and fling out witty quips when feeling less than optimum. Which is why the silence, in case anyone out there was wondering.

Hopefully, this medical malaise shall soon pass, and great spas will soon be shared with you once again. Till then, feel free to drop a line, (only nice ones please) leave a comment or share some info on great spas you've visited.

I'd love to hear what I've been missing, and also would be more than happy to hear from my great fan base.
